Job Title: Project Manager for Transmission Line Engineering

Description:

  • Lead and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality services and work products.
  • Direct project team members, providing guidance on workload, schedule, quality, utilization, morale, and performance.
  • Oversee non-engineering components of projects and programs as applicable.
  • Develop and implement QA/QC processes to ensure exceptional quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with leadership and talent acquisition teams to build a strong team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of transmission line engineering projects, including scope and proposal development, project team management, project execution, quality control, scope, schedule, and budget management, and project closeout.
  2. Provide oversight over project team member workload, schedule, quality, utilization, morale, and performance.
  3. As applicable, be responsible for overseeing non-engineering components of projects and programs, such as public engagement, County/State/Federal agency engagement, permitting, right of way acquisition, and construction management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • FE, PE license preferred, PMP certification in lieu of PE.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to interact with various design teams and possess excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 years of related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
