Accounting and Financial Expertise

We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our Brazil Finance team. This role will work closely with existing members of the team and partner with others within the organization to provide day-to-day accounting and transitional assistance, deliver high-quality financial reporting, and support ad-hoc finance-related projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the financial accounting process, including accrual and provision calculations and postings, reconciliations, and financial closing activities (monthly and yearly)
  • Financial accounting Reporting for Epic UK and US
  • Management of the annual statutory audit
  • Collaboration regarding system and process enhancements
  • Fixed asset accounting and administration (including depreciation, asset tracking, and leases)
  • Tax declarations, statistical report preparation, and submissions

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English, any other languages appreciated
  • 3-5 years recent and relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, active CRC
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting processes and procedures, ERP systems (Senior Sistemas and Workday preferred), and MS Excel - Google Sheets a plus
  • Experience dealing with External Auditor requests
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
  • Attention to detail, organization, and experience in a fast-paced environment
