Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned application security expert to join our growing team of like-minded professionals. As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguarding our applications and infrastructure from potential threats. Your expertise in secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate vulnerabilities and provide actionable guidance to development teams.
  • Drive threat modeling sessions to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Implement automated processes for securely updating dependencies and code.
  • Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to runtime security initiatives, including container/Kubernetes hardening.

You will work closely with our engineering and development squads to ensure seamless integration of security practices into our SDLC. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset will enable you to proactively identify and address potential security issues.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in application security or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tools.
  • Deep understanding of web, mobile, and API vulnerabilities.
  • Proven expertise in performing code reviews and writing clear reports.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • Certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT, CPTE, or CSSLP.
  • AWS, GCP, or Azure Security Specialty certification.
  • Familiarity with bug bounty triage and vulnerability management platforms.
