Position Overview
Insight Global is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical assistance in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality desktop support and customer service. Daily tasks will include:
- Resolving approximately 5-8 Active Directory tickets.
- Troubleshooting issues related to PC and Mac operating systems.
- Assisting with VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
- Addressing web conferencing and email-related challenges.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- 3-5 years of experience in IT support, particularly in desktop support.
- Strong proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting both Mac OS and PC hardware.
- Experience with Active Directory (AD) and a customer service-oriented mindset.
Desired Skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple, or ITIL.
- Expertise in AWS VDI creation.
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft application suite, including Microsoft O365, Microsoft Teams, Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11), Active Directory Administration, Group Policies, Microsoft Exchange Online, and SharePoint administration.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive hourly rate for the duration of a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
