Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for defining security and access control standards, designing and managing user roles and permissions, and contributing to the development and maintenance of data security policies, procedures, and standards.
You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations, such as LGPD and GDPR, and financial compliance standards, such as SOX and Anti-trust.
Key Responsibilities- Define security and access control standards
- Design and manage user roles and permissions
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data security policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations, such as LGPD and GDPR
- Ensure adherence to financial compliance standards, such as SOX and Anti-trust
- Contribute to data classification and tagging
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics
- Design and maintain a data governance framework
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data privacy, or data security roles
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., LGPD, GDPR) and financial compliance standards (e.g., SOX)
- Experience with data classification, tagging, data lifecycle management, and process automation tools
- Familiarity with access control mechanisms, including role-based access control (RBAC) and user permissions management
- Experience in implementing and managing process automation solutions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, design automated solutions, and implement effective data governance strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data governance and automation concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
