About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our team in Risk and Analytics. As a key member of our project teams, you will be responsible for developing and delivering reserve studies, pricing/funding analyses, and captive consulting activities for our clients.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams through data preparation, produce and analyze initial results, and work closely with senior colleagues to increase industry knowledge and sharpen actuarial skills.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills across the Microsoft Office suite, programming skills such as VBA, R or Python, and proficient knowledge of manipulating databases like SQL.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with actuarial activities on various project teams
  • Preparing the first draft of client deliverables for review by more senior colleagues on project teams
  • Sourcing and participating in key learning and development opportunities
  • Maintaining steady progress through exams (if applicable)

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Actuarial exam progress toward ACAS and/or FCAS credentials is highly encouraged
  • Excellent technical skills across the Microsoft Office suite
  • Programming skills such as VBA, R or Python
  • Proficient knowledge of manipulating databases like SQL
