We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Supply Representative to join our team at United Airlines. This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies, equipment, and materials in our maintenance bases and line operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store supplies, equipment, and materials in a safe and organized manner
- Issue supplies and equipment to maintenance personnel as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
- Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, trucks, and pallet jacks
- Perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling in the loading and unloading of trucks and carts
- Fuel assigned vehicles and transport parts and materials between locations
- Read and interpret documents and instructions to build kits for aircraft change orders and other services
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and management as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Ability to obtain a passport or visa for travel to the United States
- Legally authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorship
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse or supply chain management
- Forklift operation experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and computer skills
- Inventory experience and knowledge of inventory control systems
