Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases to meet business requirements. This includes ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures, including schema and data types
- Ensure data integrity by creating and enforcing constraints, triggers, and stored procedures
- Develop and maintain database scripts for backup, recovery, and maintenance activities
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and statistics management
- Implement and manage database security measures, including user roles and permissions
- Collaborate with developers to ensure database compatibility with applications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience in database administration
- Strong knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and denormalization
- Expertise in SQL Server architecture, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies, as well as security management (roles, permissions, encryption)
- Familiarity with PowerShell and shell scripting for automation
- Knowledge of cloud-based SQL solutions (eg, Azure SQL Database)
- Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployment
