Senior Quality Assurance Professional

This is a senior role for Quality Assurance Engineers to join AgileEngine in Salvador, Brazil. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in manual testing, 1-2 years with Selenium and Python, and proficiency in tools like Jira, xRay, GitHub, or GitLab.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and execute thorough test cases and scripts based on system specifications and requirements;
- Develop multiple test scenarios to ensure robust product validation;
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements and identify issues;
- Create detailed logs to document testing phases and identify defects;
- Report bugs and errors to development teams using Jira;
- Troubleshoot issues and help identify root causes of defects;
- Participate actively in Agile-Scrum development processes and provide valuable feedback and suggestions;
- 10+ years of experience with manual testing;
- 1-2 years of experience with Selenium and Python;
- Proven experience in planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and test scripts;
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, xRay, GitHub, or GitLab;
- Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies;
- Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills;
- Basic database knowledge (e.g., MySQL, Postgres);
- Experience with testing application software hosted in the cloud (AWS environments preferred);
- Ability to think outside the box and develop multiple scenarios;
- Quick learner with a passion for troubleshooting;
- Upper-Intermediate English level.
