Job Summary:

The Duty Manager - Front Office Operations will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office team. This is a hands-on role, highly customer-focused, and requires an individual who can lead by example in meeting and maintaining our team brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate Guest Satisfaction: Monitor trends and drive the continuous improvement of our team and processes to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  2. Front Office Operations: Oversee all guest arrivals and departures, ensuring room allocations and check-in/out processes adhere to agreed procedures and standards.
  3. Data Accuracy: Ensure accuracy of data and reporting to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  4. Lobby Services: Oversee lobby services to ensure seamless guest arrival and departure experiences.
  5. Customer Relations: Manage customer relations to deliver truly memorable experiences for our guests.
  6. Loyalty Program: Be our 'Loyalty Champion' striving to recruit new members to our loyalty program.
  7. Labour Coverage: Ensure sufficient labour coverage in key areas to maintain high standards of service.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury hotels.
  2. Problem-Solving: Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills to 'surprise' our guests.
  3. Front Office Standards: Deep understanding and practical application of Front Office standards and procedures.
  4. Customer Service: Authentic customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  5. Grooming and Presentation: Impeccable grooming and presentation standards.
  6. Technical Skills: Proficiency in the using the MS Office suite of products.
  7. Opera Cloud: Experience in Opera Cloud is highly desirable.
  8. Availability: Ability to work a range of shifts, inclusive of days, nights, and weekends.
  9. Work Rights: Unlimited work rights in Australia.
