As a highly skilled Academic Coordinator for English Language, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic vision and supporting our teachers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our team of teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Conduct thorough hiring, onboarding, training, and teacher evaluations to guarantee high-quality instruction.
  • Design and lead professional development sessions and workshops to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive guidelines for GT's educational approach, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Administer and manage Needs Analysis (placement testing) for new students, ensuring accurate placement and personalized instruction.
  • Oversee the review and development of teaching materials, guaranteeing they align with our academic standards and are engaging for students.
  • Continuously improve the academic quality and learning experience by monitoring progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions.
  • Act as a strategic voice in planning and implementing improvements across the teaching team, fostering collaboration and open communication.
Requirements
  • Possess CELTA (Cambridge) certification or a degree in Languages or Education.
  • Have prior experience as an English teacher, with a proven track record of success.
  • Be available for full-time, remote work, and be comfortable using digital tools and remote instruction.
Nice to Have
  • Hold DELTA (Cambridge) or equivalent certifications.
  • Have previous experience in academic coordination or management roles, with a focus on leadership and development.
  • Bring experience in material design, curriculum planning, or teacher mentorship, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Google Workspace and other EdTech tools is highly valued.
  • A background in reputable language schools is a significant asset.
