About Our Team

The Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Regional Go-to-Market (RGTM) team plays a crucial role in supporting the Customer Experience & Solutions (CXS) organization by promoting and facilitating the adoption of the ALM product suite among customers, partners, and internal teams. We are integrated within the Customer Service and Delivery board area.

The ALM portfolio encompasses products such as SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Focused Run, and SAP Solution Manager.

Your Role

We are looking for a seasoned Regional Lead to become a vital part of our regional go-to-market team for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). This position focuses on assisting customers, partners, and colleagues with ALM products, particularly SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Focused Run, while managing the transition from SAP Solution Manager. The ideal candidate will engage with key stakeholders, develop product rollout strategies, act as a trusted advisor, handle escalations, and exhibit profound expertise in the ALM domain. You will represent stakeholder interests, take ownership of regional adoption targets, and guide customers, partners, and colleagues with in-depth technical knowledge. Additionally, you should be prepared for one-on-one interactions with customers and partners, thrive in a technical environment, and be open to presenting at conferences and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as a SME for ALM products, rapidly acquiring and deepening knowledge in specific product areas. Conduct hands-on demonstrations and showcase expertise, especially in SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Focused Run, while guiding customers and partners through the transition from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Expertise Development Sessions: Facilitate comprehensive training and knowledge-sharing sessions for customers, partners, and colleagues to improve their understanding and use of ALM products.
  • Adoption Facilitation: Accelerate the adoption of the ALM portfolio by providing extensive support and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate on the development of go-to-market strategies, including identifying target customer segments and creating ideal customer profiles tailored to the region.
  • Customer Insights: Gain insights into region-specific customer requirements, drive field enablement for the portfolio, and establish strong customer relationships to generate success stories.
  • Strategic Support: Offer techno-functional advice and assistance during key customer and partner engagements to ensure successful implementations and satisfaction.
  • Communication and Training: Assist in delivering communications, organizing events, training sessions, and other initiatives to promote ALM products and their advantages.
Qualifications

Educational Background: Degree in technology or business-related fields.

Technical Expertise (Essential): Profound knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Focused Run is required.

Customer Engagement and Communication Skills:

  • Experience in managing cloud-based customer relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven skills in customer management.
  • Experience working with customers across the region.

Professional Experience:

  • Experience in conceptualizing, organizing, and managing large-scale customer events is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and campaign management is preferred.
  • Background in Product Owner roles or customer-facing positions is beneficial.
