A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team.

  • This role will involve supporting the build out of data marts on top of their Snowflake enterprise warehouse, including lifting and shifting existing data marts, building net new data marts, and further integrations.
  • The data engineering team designs, tests, deploys, and maintains data pipelines and establishes a strong data reporting environment within an AWS environment supported by their DevOps team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lift and shift existing data marts to Snowflake
  • Build net new data marts
  • Further integrate data marts with existing systems
  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain data pipelines
  • Establish a strong data reporting environment

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering
  • 3+ years of experience with Snowflake Datawarehouse
  • Strong Python scripting experience
  • Well-versed with data marts
  • Strong understanding of SQL including SSIS, SSAS, & SSRS
  • Ability to work MST hours

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working within the healthcare industry, provider side highly preferred
  • Red Shift database experience
  • Tableau experience
  • Experience working in an AWS environment
  • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka

About the Role:

This position is currently slated as a 6-month contract, but with a high likelihood of extending for an additional 6+ months. The company has a large pipeline of project work for the next three years, ensuring continuous opportunities for growth and development.
