At Questrade Financial Group, we're committed to helping our customers achieve financial success and security. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the financial services industry.

As a member of our agile Scrum/Kanban teams, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential solutions, manage product backlogs, and create user stories and epics. Your deep understanding of the investment industry, combined with your experience with Equity and Options Trading systems, book of records systems, and custody systems, will be invaluable in helping us deliver cutting-edge financial services.

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst who can bring a fresh perspective and a passion for innovation to our team. If you have a strong understanding of customer statements, CRM2, and other regulatory guidelines, and experience in facilitating meetings, documentation, and conducting interviews to elicit and write complete and detailed requirements, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in agile Scrum/Kanban teams as a BA, Scrum Master, and Team Member
  • Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for client, technology, and business suitability
  • Manage product backlog, create user stories, epics, and user cases documents
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge financial services

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the investment industry
  • Experience with Equity and Options Trading systems, book of records systems, and custody systems
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, conflict resolution, and expectation/relationship management skills
  • Ability to understand company-wide project initiatives, see cross-functional opportunities, and comprehend overall company business directives
  • Commitment to requirements management practices with ability to control project scope creep and mitigate project risks and constraints

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of customer statements, CRM2, and other regulatory guidelines
  • Experience in facilitating meetings, documentation, and conducting interviews to elicit and write complete and detailed requirements
