Project Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our team in implementing a new project.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Manage contracts and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
    • Coordinate with clients, project teams, and contractors to align expectations and facilitate effective communication.
    • Ensure compliance with governance standards, client requirements, and legal obligations.
    • Identify and mitigate risks, as well as manage changes within the project scope.
    • Liaise with Ausenco departments to achieve departmental goals.
    • Lead a field team composed of engineers, technicians, planners, procurement specialists, and other professionals.
    • Oversee project implementation processes, including planning, control, cost management, change management, risk management, procurement, engineering, physical execution, QA/QC, and commissioning.
    • Maintain health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, and proactively address potential risks.
    • Collaborate with corporate departments to define procurement and subcontracting strategies.
    • Prepare management and progress reports, as well as action plans for deviations and changes.
    • Support the Project Director in overall EPCM management, maintaining transparent communication regarding project progress.
    • Monitor project performance indicators (KPIs), taking prompt action to ensure targets are met, and developing corrective action plans for deviations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Possession of a post-graduate degree or MBA in Project Management is desirable.
  • Proven experience in capital project implementation.
  • Desirable experience in brownfield and maintenance projects.
  • Desirable experience in refinery or chemical industry, particularly in nickel production.
