Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our organization's data-driven initiatives. This will involve transforming and organizing raw data into structured and meaningful information, enabling key business insights and decisions.

  • Design, implement, and optimize ELT processes to ingest, transform, and integrate data from diverse sources into a centralized data platform;
  • Develop and implement strategies for data monitoring, performance optimization, and governance, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance;
  • Collaborate on data modeling using DBT to transform raw data into well-structured, actionable information;
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and data requirements;
  • Stay updated with emerging data technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in SQL, experience with Python programming, and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Familiarity with data extraction tools such as Airflow or Airbyte, experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration, intermediate English, basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and basic knowledge of BI tools are also essential.

  • Proficiency in SQL;
  • Experience with Python programming;
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
  • Familiarity with data extraction tools such as Airflow or Airbyte;
  • Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration;
  • Intermediate English;
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines;
  • Basic knowledge of BI tools.
Bonus Points

Knowledge of DBT for data modeling and transformations, familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform for container orchestration and infrastructure as code, and knowledge of data catalog tools such as OpenMetadata or DataHub are desirable.
