We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist or Counsellor to contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering evidence-based treatments, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and expertise in administering psychological assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, with a primary focus on CBT.
  • Develop specialised clinical care pathways in line with the evidence-base and best practice.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for clients, both in-person and virtually.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing service development and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered treatment plans.
  • Work closely with our 24/7 helpline responder team to manage risk, ensure the safety of clients in crisis situations, and provide crisis interventions.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for risk management and clinical procedures, and train providers on these processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional and legal standards.
  • Continuously update professional knowledge and skills through participation in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Expertise in crisis intervention, particularly Critical Incident Support Management.
  • Provide monthly reports on clinical insights and user utilisation.
  • Offer after-hours support to clients when required.
  • Support the recruitment team in screening freelance providers.
  • Collaborate with the localization team to ensure content is translated effectively.
  • Regularly review, refine, and adhere to SOPs to maintain high standards of clinical practice, risk management, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology or Counselling.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
  • At least 1-3 years of post-graduate clinical or counselling experience, preferably in a mental health setting.
  • Expertise in individual and group facilitation.
  • Proficiency in planning and executing online seminars using various web platforms.
  • Ability to navigate and manage crisis situations effectively.
  • Experience in administering psychological assessments (for clinical psychologists).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in delivering evidence-based treatments, with a focus on CBT.
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Clinical Psychologist or Counsellor in the current country.
  • Ability to provide onsite support for clients, including counselling and psychoeducation sessions.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in providing clinical supervision to other mental health professionals.
  • A dedicated clinical space available for rental by Intellect.
