Technical Lead Software Developer Position">

We are looking for a skilled software developer to take on a technical lead role in improving our platform's architecture and code quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with legacy systems, a strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, and expertise in modernizing and refactoring code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the effort to resolve technical debt and improve maintainability, performance, and scalability of our platform.
  • Upgrade platform dependencies and ensure compatibility through comprehensive testing.
  • Refactor legacy code, remove redundant logic, and simplify complex modules while preserving functionality.
  • Maintain and enhance developer experience by improving CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and internal tooling.
  • Participate in architecture improvement efforts and contribute to the development of high-quality software.

The successful candidate will be passionate about ensuring quality through solid test coverage and code reviews, and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with significant experience working on existing systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with Hibernate and Spring MVC.
  • Experience leading teams and contributing to architecture improvement efforts.
  • Hands-on experience with API development and web services.
  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Solid understanding of AWS cloud development and microservices architecture.
  • EST working hours are required.
