About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned energy journalist to cover the Brazilian market at an exciting time of transformation.

  • Brazil has attracted significant investment from major oil companies eager to tap its vast offshore reserves, while also playing a pivotal role in the global transition to renewable energies.
  • The new administration has pledged to overhaul Petrobras, redirecting profits towards renewable energy projects, refining capacity, and regional development.

You will need excellent collaboration skills to work with a team of international energy reporters, delivering impactful regional and global stories. We are also looking for a dynamic journalist who can produce engaging content on a range of topics in Latin America's vibrant cities, from cultural events like Carnival to crime-related issues affecting urban areas.
