Key Responsibilities
  • The incumbent is tasked with scrutinizing and validating loading requisitions for hazardous cargo in accordance with established ZIM and IMDG Code protocols.
  • A key responsibility involves reviewing all operational invoices in a timely fashion to ensure seamless workflow execution.
  • The analyst must provide schedules for feeder vessels and collaborate with logistics teams on empty moves.
  • Daily coastal schedules for ZIM vessels are to be offered for designated areas.
  • The role requires identifying solutions for vessel delays.
  • The position entails active participation in vendor negotiations.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with English language is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience covering all facets of operations, from terminals to vessels.
  • In-depth knowledge of Maritime IMDG CODE is required.
  • Certification in IMO cargo is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in special cargo handling is necessary.
  • A basic understanding of ship planning is also desired.
