Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to drive sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying customer needs and opportunities, establishing solid customer relationships, and promoting relevant IFF ingredients solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand specific market and customer environments, including customer activities, strategies, brands, markets, and consumers.
  • Develop awareness and understanding of multi-level cross-functional customer organization, focusing on building enhanced relationships with key customer decision makers and influencers.
  • Contribute to strategic commercial negotiation, including core listing, annual pricing, payment terms, rebates, and cost savings agreements.
  • Identify prospect and customer opportunities and build business cases.
  • Develop commercial Go-to-Market strategies for allocated customer portfolios.
  • Define and request required account resources, qualify business opportunities, and promote product portfolios.
  • Organize commercial kick-offs, finalize action plans, and prepare presentation materials.
  • Ensure optimal engagement of customer networks and influencers, coordinate win/loss analysis, and share project learnings.
  • Have a clear understanding of customer regulatory requirements and regularly inform GRA/IC&D.
  • Gather and share intelligence on the industry, market, consumer, and technology from daily interactions with customers and industry networks.
  • Foster and lead knowledge building on competitors, leveraging IFF's consumer understanding and strategic insight to generate customer excitement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food or Chemical Engineering, Business, or Marketing.
  • Between 3-6 years of sales experience in other industries, preferably in Chemical/Ingredients, Beverage Industries, or related fields.
  • Fluent in English, intermediate level in Spanish.
  • Strong skills in sales, product development, consumers, and market understanding, with ability to deal with basic financial concepts and work with IT systems.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools.
