Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Linux system infrastructure on Red Hat and Oracle Linux.

Our ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Ansible, including custom module development, and hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) in enterprise environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure Linux system infrastructure on Red Hat and Oracle Linux.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Manage enterprise-wide automation strategies using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
  • Perform advanced Linux patching, security updates, and OS hardening.
  • Write scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks.
  • Administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot complex Linux system issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Oracle Linux).
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible, including custom module development.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) in enterprise environments.
  • Advanced scripting skills for automation and system tasks.
  • Proficient in GIT for version control and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
