The role of a manufacturing plant leader is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a production facility, ensuring efficiency and productivity. This includes managing personnel, overseeing production processes, and implementing quality control measures.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Relevant degree in business administration, engineering, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in high-speed manufacturing/packaging environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results-oriented projects.
- Effective change management and process improvement skills.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
