As a leading provider of IT consulting services, we are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of BI Project Owner Consultant.

This is a unique opportunity to join a cross-functional team responsible for developing data pipelines and providing support. The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge in Power BI & Azure, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of working with data & BI products, including experience with D365. They will be able to demonstrate decisiveness and action, while also possessing excellent interpersonal skills.

This position offers a flexible work arrangement, with the option to work remotely on a daily basis as part of Air Liquide's team. The candidate will be expected to work according to the Eastern Timezone and Canadian calendar.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to lead our Data Hub team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT, with advanced knowledge in Power BI & Azure.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading the development of data pipelines and providing support to the team
  • Organizing enhancements and creating backlogs according to tasks necessary
  • Coordinating activities with business stakeholders and developers
  • Maintaining a delivery-oriented approach, ensuring projects are completed within budget and scope
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related discipline
  • At least one to three years of experience as BI lead, manager, or coordinator
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Power BI, Data modeling and Analysis Services (Tabular Models/Tabular Editor)
  • Strong experience with Azure is a strong asset
  • CSPO certification - SCRUM certification will be a plus
  • Data & BI experience with D365
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
