Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing and scaling initiatives that foster a thriving community. They will play a key role in facilitating the creation of new technical projects that enhance the community contribution experience, and represent community interests to various teams.

They will support community initiatives with technical skills and strong organizational skills, working closely with developers to smooth processes and integrate community plans with broader company goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically proficient person who is passionate about open source software, Linux, and sustainable community building.

Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills. They should have a clear public record of accomplishments, experience working with developer tools and open source projects, and interest in Linux, DevOps, software development, testing and QA, package management, container technology.
