Cloud Infrastructure Leader
Description:A cloud infrastructure leader is required to spearhead a team of remote engineers in the development of cutting-edge private cloud infrastructure. This involves integrating KVM, Ceph, and SDN technologies to create a scalable cloud platform for mission-critical enterprise deployments.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of engineers in designing high-quality microservice architectures and providing high-performance leadership.
- Cultivate talent through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development.
- Set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Promote modern software development practices and participate in code and architectural review.
- Foster collaboration with teams at Canonical, the open source community, and partners.
- Experience leading successful, collaborative engineering teams.
- Deep understanding of Linux and modern Linux cloud computing technologies, including networking, storage, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or similar field.
- Programming experience in C and/or Go.
