This is a part-time opportunity for an entry-level candidate who is passionate about delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for following established laboratory procedures, maintaining quality control standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Collect, process, and analyze specimens according to established protocols;
- Maintain accurate records and reports;
- Identify potential issues that may impact test performance and notify supervisors as needed;
- Order and distribute laboratory supplies efficiently;
- Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean work environment;
- Foster teamwork and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals;
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- At least 18 years of age;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Excellent communication and keyboarding skills;
- One year of clerical or clinical experience preferred;
- Minimum 60 semester hours in relevant sciences or an associate degree in related fields;
- Certification by ASCP or equivalent preferred; registry-eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.
