Customer Support Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-tier support to customers by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment at their sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and provide exceptional customer service. As a Customer Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

You will work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues, and provide training to customers on the use and maintenance of our products. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in electro-mechanical repair, laboratory instrumentation, CAD drawings, electrical diagrams, MS Office, and general computer programming. Experience with semiconductor processes, lasers fundamentals, optics fundamentals, or semiconductor industrial engineering and operation is a plus.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person visits

  • Develop and deliver training programs to customers on the use and maintenance of our products
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in any discipline
  • Strong aptitude for electro-mechanical repair
  • Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, CAD drawings, electrical diagrams, MS Office, and general computer programming
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
