Automechanic Sales Specialist Role Overview

The Automechanic Sales Specialist is a professional-level sales position that supports advanced functions of the DIY business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and experience for customers.
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals, as well as service objectives.
  • Manage services, including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and appearance.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Assist in inventory processes, including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock.
  • Maintain cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot.

  • Friendly communication skills.
  • Ability to locate and stock parts.
  • Safety knowledge and skills.
  • Operating inventory systems and equipment.
Essential Job Skills
  • Working knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability.
  • Speak and write English; communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
Prior Experience

3-5 years of prior automotive experience.
