Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced technical leader to oversee a solutions architecture team that helps Brazilian Government customers succeed using AWS technologies.
We are looking for a seasoned professional to lead and develop a team of skilled solutions architects, coach them on cloud adoption best practices, and empower them to further develop their technical expertise and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will partner with other teams within AWS, such as account management, service teams, marketing, and professional services, to prioritize initiatives and align goals to long-term value.
This role will involve shaping and delivering a strategy to build mind share and broad use of AWS services within Brazilian Government, interacting directly with customers to understand their needs, and aligning the right resources and tools to increase their success.
The successful candidate will be technically capable and credible, with experience building, managing, and developing talented teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles.

- Hire, onboard, train, and continuously develop Solutions Architects and Solution Architecture Managers.
- Coach Solutions Architects to conduct technical sessions and transfer their skills to customers.
- Formulate and execute a customer-focused strategy to enable and accelerate adoption of AWS.
- Guide and prioritize the development of high-value customer-facing guidance and best practices.
- Own the technical strategy to increase customer value and adoption of well-architected AWS solutions.
- Act as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams, partners, professional services, and support.
- Experience with enterprise IT application work, including software development or DevOps engineering.
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider.
- Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps.
- Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
