We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the local Internal Controls Director and the Regional Compliance Officer on compliance activities in a part-time role (20 hours/week). Based in São Paulo, you will be responsible for ensuring appropriate compliance with all necessary laws and regulations relevant to our organization in a proactive and risk-based manner.

Your Role:
  • Actively promote a positive Compliance culture within the company.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory matters to management and staff.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, and report compliance risks.
  • Develop Compliance processes in accordance with Group Compliance & Legal requirements and ensure they meet local laws, regulatory requirements, and regulators' expectations.
  • Oversight and monitoring of Compliance activities to assist stakeholders in complying with legislative and other requirements.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc Compliance management reports to Management, the Regional Compliance Manager (RCM), GCL, and Audit Committee to ensure transparency and information flow.
  • Track legal changes and provide early warnings on new legal and regulatory requirements to advise management appropriately.
  • Support executives and senior management to achieve targets in a sustainable and compliant manner by acting as a trusted business partner, while preserving professional independence.
Your Profile:
  • A general understanding of Compliance requirements in the financial sector.
  • Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance regulations.
  • Familiarity with Local General Data Protection Requirements (LGPD).
  • Knowledge of ESG is a desirable trait.
  • Agile method knowledge is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualism in English.
  • An outstanding academic profile with a university degree in Law, Business Administration, or equivalent preferred.
