About This Opportunity

Asthanor is a leading company in the field of food system improvement, quality enhancement, and waste reduction. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Project Manager to join our Technology Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for projects, leveraging project management tools to ensure efficient project execution in support of company goals.
  • Knowledge Management: Serve as the knowledge management expert, solutions engineering, and project management expert.
  • Project Coordination: Manage up to 5 projects at one time based on complexity, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Stakeholder Management: Drive project meetings with internal and external project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Vendor Management: Manage Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equipment vendors and contractors, including design reviews, analyzing quotes/contracts, negotiating scope, validation/functional testing, delivery schedules, installation activities, and risk mitigation.
  • Risk Management: Evaluate the impact of all technical and non-technical related project risks and make the best decisions for the success of the projects with limited supervision.
  • Process Improvement: Guide, participate, and contribute in the development and implementation of department process improvements.
  • Technical Support: Support onsite engineering activities and resolve technical problems related to installation projects.
  • Mentorship: Provides mentorship, coaching, and project support to other team members.
Requirements
  • Engineering Experience: Minimum 5 years engineering experience (preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering).
  • Project Management Experience: Minimum 2 years of program and/or project management experience.
  • Vendor Management: Experience working with Original Equipment Manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with AutoCAD, experience with 3D Modeling software such as Solidworks preferred.
  • Collaboration: Highly collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project Management Tools: Experience with a project management platform (preferred experience with Smartsheet).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kgs.
