Your Role
As an Android Software Architect, you will take charge of designing, developing, and deploying high-quality Android applications. You will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and advocate for best practices in software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust Android applications
- Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable code
- Architect effective networking and data management layers
- Offer insights on optimal solutions for specific platforms
- Promote best practices in programming and modular design
- Lead the delivery of significant features and components
- Guide and mentor fellow developers
- Engage with teams and clients to deliver software in an agile setting
- Refine existing code for improved maintainability and elegance
- Participate in pair programming sessions
- Create unit tests to ensure comprehensive code coverage
- Contribute to Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development
- Deep understanding of the Android development lifecycle
- Proficient in languages and frameworks such as Java, Kotlin, and others
- Experienced with version control systems and IDEs
- Familiar with CI/CD practices and deployment pipelines
- Knowledgeable in automated testing frameworks
- Experience with Google APIs and SDKs
- Skilled in developing for various Android platforms
- Committed to creating inclusive and accessible user interfaces
- Familiar with emerging technologies like Machine Learning and AR/VR
