The Role

We seek senior software engineers who are passionate about our early story and willing to drive change through technology. You will have opportunities to work across the entire stack with a focus on risk and underwriting back-end systems. As an engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and maintaining cutting-edge solutions that support our customers' success.

As part of a nimble team, you'll work closely with talented engineers to deliver high-quality products and features at scale. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow with a forward-thinking organization.

Our ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership and enjoys taking projects from inception to release. They should be proficient in Python, SQL, NodeJS+Typescript with server and data platform design principles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing well-structured services and data models to ensure our continued growth
  • Architecting scalable, low-latency systems with high availability and security
  • Mentoring junior engineers in all aspects of planning, development, and testing
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices
What We Need

Our team requires individuals who can hold themselves and their colleagues to high standards. You should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to provide detailed evaluations of technical directions.

Additional requirements include exposure to modular monoliths and microservices, experience with cloud-based providers like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure, and four or more years of relevant industry experience.
