System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team at Exadel Open Positions. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including network services, application systems, and hardware.

• Configure and maintain network services, including DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
• Manage application systems, including deployment, updating, and troubleshooting
• Perform routine tasks, including hardware maintenance and software updates
• Provide technical support to end-users, including answering common questions and resolving issues
• Report status of assigned tasks and impediments in a timely manner
• Communicate with customers and team members through group chats and meetings

• OS deployment with mandatory agent software
• Configuration (endpoint only)
• Updating
• Command line utils and event viewer/logs for basic troubleshooting
• Network Services
• Network layers (TCP/IP model)
• DNS record types, recursive resolving, caches, manual queries
• **DHCP basics**: purpose, principle of work
• **VPN basics**: OpenVPN configuration and troubleshooting on endpoint
• **Firewalls**: purpose, principle of work
• Ping/Traceroute
• Application systems
• List of main systems that end users can access on regular basis.
• Knowledge of company's systems from end-user perspective.
• Execute routine tasks using instructions and under guidance of SA/SSA
