Research Development Injection Molding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Injection Molding Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a key role in introducing new technologies, managing purchases, and sourcing new materials for testing.
The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation and optimization of our infrastructure, assemble and disassemble molds of varying materials and complexity, and operate injection machines as needed to produce prototypes.
This role involves direct and ongoing collaboration with the R&D team, requiring high organizational skills and alignment with our standards for precision and agility.
Responsibilities include operating injection molding machines up to 160 tons, assisting tests and studies on how climate and environmental factors impact part quality, and collaborating with the Engineering team on quality control and continuous improvement projects.
Main Responsibilities- Operate injection molding machines up to 160 tons;
- Assist tests and studies on how climate and environmental factors impact part quality;
- Collaborate with the Engineering team on quality control and continuous improvement projects;
- Assemble and disassemble molds/tooling;
- Support the maintenance and optimization of the lab's infrastructure;
- Organize and maintain the laboratory environment;
- Manage inventory of consumables, tools, and raw materials.
- Hands-on experience with injection molds;
- Experience working with injection molding processes;
- Proficiency in operating injection molding machines;
- Proficiency in Office Suite (Word and Excel) or G Suite (Google Sheets and Docs).
