DevOps Lead Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Lead Engineer to oversee the technical direction of our organization’s DevOps practices.

  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience with DevOps, proficient in Agile methodologies, advanced IT infrastructure knowledge, and strong experience in application security best practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the overall DevOps strategy, aligning it with organizational goals and technological advancements. They will supervise teams in managing scalable, secure cloud environments and advanced CI/CD workflows, and coordinate cross-functional efforts for seamless DevOps integration into software development and operations.

Additionally, the DevOps Lead Engineer will lead innovation in DevOps practices through adoption of new technologies and methodologies, oversee security policies and risk management strategies in all DevOps activities, and mentor team members in advanced DevOps techniques and tools.

Key Requirements:
  1. 7+ years of experience with DevOps.
  2. Proficient in Agile methodologies for efficient project delivery and team collaboration.
  3. Advanced IT infrastructure knowledge.
  4. Strong experience in application security best practices.
  5. Proven track record in developing and integrating large-scale applications.
  6. Expertise in both back-end and front-end development areas.
  7. Skilled in conducting code reviews and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  8. Expert understanding of client requirements, assessing potential benefits and weaknesses.
  9. Advanced knowledge of trade-offs involved in choosing specific technologies or solutions.
  10. Strong experience leading client and stakeholder meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts.
  11. Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, task allocation, risk identification, decision-making, time estimation, conflict resolution, and project planning.
  12. Advanced level of English.
