Renewable Operations and Maintenance Manager

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and launch of Invenergy's Brazilian renewable operations and maintenance portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the daily operations and upkeep of multiple renewable energy centers, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety protocols in collaboration with Invenergy's EHS team to ensure employee well-being.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of operational personnel within your assigned region.
  • Prepare and enforce operating procedures, guaranteeing adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Design and implement operational strategies aligned with Invenergy's culture and mission.
  • Streamline maintenance processes to minimize downtime and maximize technician productivity.
  • Collaborate with O&M Managers and US-based Operations Engineering to resolve technical issues affecting wind energy center production and availability.
  • Work closely with Asset Management to develop, track, and analyze annual operating budgets.
  • Analyze operational data to identify current and future O&M needs.
  • Conduct regular site visits and audits of renewable energy centers.
  • Prepare monthly operations reports and manage inventory for wind farm parts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of overall work experience in engineering, operations, or maintenance, with at least 2 years of supervisory/managerial experience leading operations of a wind site.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of CMMS and O&M practices.
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual: Portuguese and English (Spanish desirable).
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders without assistance, and work at heights greater than 80 meters.
