Workers Compensation Defense Attorney

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers' compensation law and be passionate about advocating on behalf of TPAs, carriers, and employers.

The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation, advocacy, and case management skills, as well as the ability to represent clients in workers' compensation claims, including petitions, settlements, administrative hearings, and court appearances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent Clients: Represent clients in workers' compensation claims, including petitions, settlements, administrative hearings, and court appearances.
  • Manage Cases: Manage cases from initial consultation to resolution: gather evidence, draft/review legal documents, coordinate with medical professionals, and handle depositions.
  • Negotiate Settlements: Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve fair settlements.
  • Conduct Research: Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in workers' compensation law and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in workers' compensation law (certification in workers' compensation is a plus).
  • Strong negotiation, advocacy, and case management skills.
