Protection and Control Systems Specialist

The primary purpose of this role is to perform field service work in protection and control systems, both within our site and customer locations. This includes installation, repairs, and commissioning of these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Self-management of assigned projects and job cost accountability to perform work within budgeted cost estimates.
- Support engineering assignments that may involve work with installation, repairs, and commissioning of protection and control systems.
- Perform all tests needed for protection and control systems.
- Correct interpretation of projects and technical documents for installation and commissioning of the equipment at customer locations.
- Development of technical reports.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving relative to the focus equipment (protection and control systems).
Requirements:
- Experience with protection and control systems
- Complete Technical Certification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Knowledge in commissioning of protection devices
- Work experience in the electrical industry
- Knowledge in logic of protection devices
- MS Office package
- Field experience will be considered a plus
