The Electrical Engineer plays a pivotal role in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and equipment. This includes power generation, transmission, and distribution networks.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address equipment and process issues from an engineering perspective.
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems, manufacturing systems, and electrical equipment.
- Work closely with Controls Engineering to create controls architecture and connection guides.
- Ensure accurate documentation, consistent use of processes, and adherence to engineering design standards.
- Coordinate projects from concept to close-out, including scope development, specifications, bid solicitations, engineering/design, manufacturing, installation, start-up, acceptance, and close-out.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in a mid to large-sized manufacturing facility.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of system design following international and Brazilian electrical regulations and standards (e.g., UL, CSA, MD, IEC, IEEE).
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of local and federal statutory requirements.
- Knowledge of Controls architecture.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Self-motivated and result-driven individual.
