Job Opportunity

We seek an Account Professional to expand our sales operations by selling Equinix solutions to existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establishes and nurtures key partnerships with assigned clients/prospects.
  • Ensures timely resolution of client issues through effective customer relationship management.
  • Conducts Quarterly Business Reviews and leads Executive Briefings as required.
  • Leverages the extended sales team and external partners to drive coordinated sales efforts.
  • Penetrates accounts through strategic alliances and reseller partnerships.
  • Understands business drivers of accounts and applies knowledge to penetrate new markets.
  • Researches and documents a detailed understanding of customer businesses and interpersonal landscapes.
  • Develops account plans focused on maintaining and growing client relationships.
  • Drives coordinated selling approaches and account planning with global counterparts.
  • Identifies customer needs, challenges, and technical requirements, recommending Equinix solutions accordingly.
  • Leads sales pitch delivery, demonstrating SEs where appropriate; adapts pitch to customer needs and persona.
  • Sells the full suite of Equinix offerings globally.
  • Utilizes external partners to develop solutions for new areas and prospects.
  • Addresses high churn risk clients to minimize revenue loss.
  • Facilitates contract renewals and negotiations to protect revenue streams.
Requirements:
  • Previous work experience as an Account Executive in the technology sector.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
