The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in content creation, editing, or digital publishing, with strong writing and editing chops, and familiarity with CMS platforms.
Responsibilities include creating detailed briefs for writers, editing content, uploading and managing content, running audits, and analyzing pages for SEO best practices.
- Experience: 2+ years in content creation, editing, or digital publishing
- Proof of Skill: Strong writing and editing chops
- Toolbox: Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Contentful, or similar)
Additional skills include knowledge of iGaming or US sports betting, a keen eye for user intent, and an ability to match it with on-page content.
Key Performance IndicatorsGoals include mastering SurferSEO audits and content editor, ensuring content aligns with SEO best practices, establishing regular communication channels, and connecting with other SEO specialists.
Key areas of focus include staying updated on trends and developments in iGaming and US sports, helping with page audits, and building skills in competitor analysis using SEO tools.
By meeting these objectives, the successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to drive content strategy and improve the overall performance of the digital sports media company.
The role requires adaptability, as the candidate will need to incorporate newly acquired knowledge into daily tasks, contribute to content ideation and overall SEO strategies, and analyze any page on the site and give concrete improvements to the page with SEO best practices in mind.
