Compliance Specialist Role

The role of a Compliance Specialist is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in our compliance programs.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Perform audits and investigations to address potential compliance issues.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to employees on compliance-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, law, or public health.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare compliance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations including HIPAA and OIG guidelines.
  • Certification in compliance or a related field such as CCEP or CCO.

Working Conditions:

This position is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil and is a temporary role (one year).
