Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring to optimize financial performance.
  • Independently deliver analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies.
  • Initiate change to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered.
  • Build strong relationships with senior managers and their teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  1. Hold a CA (SA) qualification or equivalent. A minimum BCom Hons Degree is required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail sector or FMCG industry.
  3. Effective communication and presentation skills are essential.
  4. Ability to understand and interpret key operational and financial data.
  5. Analytical skills including the ability to identify trends, deviations, and work with large data sets.
  6. Strategic thinking: Align business operations to achieve improved financial results.
  7. Experience in using software including MS PowerPoint, Power BI, Qlikview, SQL, and Sage 200 or similar.
  8. Strong business acumen and ability to question and challenge ideas.
