Talent Manager Role Overview

As a Talent Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our organization by overseeing the strategic planning and execution of HR programs.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality execution of significant HR processes, including compensation, performance management, and career development. This will involve serving as the frontline support to customer groups, providing strategic support to functional leadership on people initiatives, addressing and resolving a wide range of employee inquiries, and guiding business leaders.

Utilizing data analytics, you will provide insight on headcount, salaries, and budgets, informing solutions as needed. You may also be responsible for supervising and mentoring other team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies to drive business results
  • Providing talent consultation to the firm while leading change initiatives around human resources (HR) programs and processes
  • Executing HR processes, including compensation, performance management, and career development
  • Serving as the frontline support to customer groups and providing strategic support to functional leadership on people initiatives
  • Addressing and resolving a wide range of employee inquiries and providing guidance to business leaders
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Seven-plus years of experience with working knowledge of United States Labor Law
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong command of English Language (written and oral)
  • Cross border working knowledge
  • Financial Services knowledge (ex. Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, and/or Wealth Management)
Bonus Requirements:
  • A master's degree, supported by Society for Human Resource Management certification
  • Experience working within a professional services industry or complex matrixed environment
