AML Compliance Professional

This role is a key position within our firm and will be responsible for providing support to the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer on a portfolio of fund entities.

The Associate - Fiduciary Services will report directly to the Director - AML Services. The individual in this role will be expected to develop and maintain procedures, systems, and controls to ensure client entities comply with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and reviewing KYC documentation for new and existing clients, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Applying AML systems and controls towards the development of the fund's AML/CTF program.
  • Maintaining logs and records for funds as required by regulations.
Skills & Experience:
  • CAMS, ICA, or other AML/compliance certifications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of fund entity structures.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Cayman Islands AML laws and regulations.
  • Contract negotiation skills, expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts.
  • Excellent client relationship skills, time management, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS applications, especially Excel and Word.
Additional Qualities:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful situations.
