Job Description

The Senior Game Designer will be part of the Fortnite team creating content that supports various systems, modes, and playstyles. The designer will craft goals for players that build their exposure, experience, and mastery of new and existing game mechanics while immersing them in the world of Fortnite and fostering a fun player experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Crafting goals for players that build their exposure, experience, and mastery of new and existing game mechanics.
  • Owning the design, vision, and outcome for a season's quest, NPC, and special-event content.
  • Collaborating closely with production partners to identify, prioritize, and evaluate design work.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure that quest features contribute to a compelling, cohesive player experience across the entire Fortnite season.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of experience shipping or maintaining titles as a game designer, strong interest in BR and multiplayer games, and an understanding of player motivations, forms of play, and goal-setting on play.
