Automation Engineer - Industrial Systems

The primary role of this position involves the development, maintenance and review of applications in industrial automation systems, focusing on Rockwell technologies such as CLP ControLogix and SCADA FTView SE/ME.

This engineering role requires a strong understanding of industrial network protocols, including EtherNet/IP, ControlNet and DeviceNet, as well as the ability to interpret electrical diagrams.

Effective communication, organization and discipline are essential for remote work. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Rockwell CLP/SCADA/IHM is required, along with a degree in Automation, Electronics or Mechatronics.

  • Develop and maintain industrial automation system applications.
  • Integrate networks, devices and instrumentation.
  • Establish coding standards, libraries and reusable code blocks.
  • Conduct remote testing and commissioning.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
Distinguishing Features
  • Knowledge of SRP/CS and NBR-ISO 13849-1.
  • Scripting skills (VBA, PowerShell).
  • Experience with simulation and virtual machines.
  • Technical English proficiency.
  • Flexibility in scheduling.
