Job Description

Our Technical Specialist will collaborate with project leaders to guarantee technical documents meet precise specifications, coordinate on-site execution, and uphold the quality of all MEP works.

This role supports Project Engineers in planning MEP systems for efficient project delivery, prepares and reviews technical submittals, maintains accuracy and completeness of technical documentation, and monitors and tracks submittal approvals. They will also coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated site execution, provide timely resolutions to site technical issues, conduct site inspections, and ensure installations meet local and international codes, standards, and project specifications.

Responsibilities include assisting with quantity take-offs, procurement, and logistics of MEP materials, contributing to as-built documentation and final handover packages, participating in meetings, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

  • Support Project Engineers in planning MEP systems for efficient project delivery
  • Prepare and review technical submittals, including drawings, materials, calculations, method statements, and reports
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of technical documentation
  • Monitor and track submittal approvals to uphold timelines and quality expectations
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated site execution
  • Provide timely resolutions to site technical issues
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and compliance
  • Ensure installations meet local and international codes, standards, and project specifications
  • Assist with quantity take-offs, procurement, and logistics of MEP materials
  • Contribute to as-built documentation and final handover packages
  • Participate in meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required. A minimum of 5 years of technical experience in MEP construction is necessary. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and design processes, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with Revit are essential. Familiarity with Autodesk tools and collaborative platforms, a strong understanding of design techniques and emerging technologies, and knowledge of relevant international and regional codes and standards are also required.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
